The biological root of my power was the digestive system, more specifically the small intestines. In my story I wrote about my syncope (fainting) dilemma and how it played a part in shaping who I am. The experience in a way left me in fear know that if I don't take care of myself I will once again become physically weak. My digestive system is my greatest asset in defenses against this possibility, assimilating what I need from my food in order to stay healthy. To take proper care of my digestive system I plan on eat a balanced diet which entails essential nutrition: fluid, adequate amino acids from protein, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals, fiber and adequate calories. But for the small intestines specifically fiber is best, fiber helps small intestines by stimulating peristalsis which is muscle movement that help with moving the food around for better digestion and absorption. I also plan on organizing myself in order prevent unnecessary stress that can cause an increase the acid in my stomach causing indigestion.
